What we're looking for?
We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer with experience in AWS services, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience implementing scalable cloud solutions, performance optimization, and working with AWS services and container orchestration. - Design, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
- Add quality gates like SonarQube to CI/CD pipelines to improve code quality.
- Write and optimize Bash scripts for automation and system administration.
- Deploy and manage front-end applications with CloudFront and S3.
- Configure and manage DNS, hosted zones, and Route 53 for scalable and reliable architectures.
- Design and troubleshoot networking solutions involving VPN peering, route tables, and load balancers.
- Deploy and manage back-end applications and microservices with Helm charts on EKS.
- Optimize application performance and scalability in containerized environments.
- Build, manage, and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure automation and version control.
- Set up monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish proactive incident management practices.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to AWS architecture, Windows, Linux, and network environments.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Qualification: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Certification: AWS Certified.
Tech Skills:
- Proven track record of successfully migrating workloads to AWS.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and EKS (essential).
- Proficient in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and Route 53.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPN peering, route tables, and load balancing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Expertise in writing Bash scripts for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.
- Proficient in creating and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Familiarity with automation and deployment best practices.
- Experience setting up monitoring tools and alerts (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with additional quality gate tools like SonarQube.
- Proven ability to follow and improve structured processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in using JIRA for project tracking and team collaboration.
